Homecomings and Lunch

So Preston came home this week! I didn't get a text til Thursday during class. Literally the whole world stopped. I almost burst into tears literally. I don't remember the rest of my teachers lecture because I was so shocked about getting a text from him. Then we went to lunch the next day and ate at Whistle Wok like we used to. We talked for a couple hours. And I have to say it was completely not awkward. It was like he didn't really change that much. We're both two years older and that's about all that's changed. So right now I'm pretty happy!

Update post

Man lots has happened since the last post. Let's see where to start...well Preston is coming home next Wednesday the 8th. Kinda excited and kinda nervous. School is winding down. Only got a couple more weeks and then spring is done. I'm taking the summer off for a much needed break. Then I'll start again fall 2009. Still haven't quite picked a major. Leaning towards education stronger and stronger. Really leaning towards History Education, but who knows. Work is chaotic as usual with Sterling and Andrew leaving in the summer for missions.
This news is more for me than anyone else, but I recently bought Cardcaptor Sakura and Vampire Knight on DVD. I love both these anime's even though they are polar opposites of each other.
So that's about all that's going on with me right now. Once I think of some more I will put them on here.

It's been a while...

Wow it's been a while since I've wrote on my blog. Let see...I finished fall semester and got surprisingly good grades. I passed my Elementary Ed. class so there will be no more education reflections on here. Well now I'm almost to mid-terms for spring semester and I'm super stressed. I have 3 mid-terms to take this week! It's so crazy! Also for me and for whoever reads this they have started filming New Moon up in Vancover! So it should come out Nov. 20th, 2009. But in the more immediate future...Twilight is coming out on DVD March 21st! I'll be in Moab on vacation but I think I'll have my cousin go buy the 2 disc for me. Then maybe I'll have a Twilight marathon with all my friends! That would be awesome!
One more thing I am super excited about is a book that is coming out in just over a week. It's in a series called House of the Night. It about...of course vampires. Or rather I should say vampyres. It's the story of a vampire fledgeling named Zoey and all the things that happen to her. Just for me I have to say...I hope Erik and Zoey get back together! This is a vid from the House of the Night official website. Now I know they have tattoos on their faces (major turn off) but I try to imagine them without it when I read the book. So anyway enjoy!
